Intown Design isn’t a big agency with layers of account managers. We’re a focused studio of developers, designers, and subject matter experts who build things that work — and have been doing it since 2005.
STORY
Two decades of building for the web.
Intown Design was founded in 2005 when the web was a very different place. We started building websites on Joomla, working with small businesses in the Atlanta area who needed an effective online presence.
Over two decades, we’ve evolved through every major shift in web technology — from early CMS platforms to modern WordPress, from static brochure sites to dynamic web applications, from client services to our own shipped products.
Today, we build custom WordPress websites, develop plugins and SaaS platforms, and help businesses grow through search engine optimization. The tools have changed, but the mission hasn’t: build things that communicate effectively and work reliably.
What sets us apart isn’t just longevity — it’s that we’ve never stopped building. We ship our own products (Intown QR Studio, Redirect Checker, Redirect Cloud), which means we hold ourselves to the same standards we apply to client work. When we recommend a technology or approach, it’s because we’ve used it ourselves.

UI/UX First
Every decision starts with the user. If it doesn’t communicate clearly, it doesn’t ship. We don’t chase trends — we solve communication problems.
Privacy by Default
No tracking scripts, no data harvesting, no phone-home behavior. Our plugins are GDPR compliant out of the box. Privacy is a feature, not a checkbox.
Ship What We Use
We build products we use ourselves. Intown QR Studio, Redirect Checker, and Redirect Cloud are proof of our standards — not marketing claims.
WordPress Native
We build on WordPress because it powers 40% of the web. We follow its conventions, leverage its ecosystem, and avoid unnecessary complexity.
